Sam’s Garden reminds us of the wealth our country possesses in natural beauty, and the wonder of this seen through the eyes of our young whanau.

Anyone who has ever seen a takahe on the island feels like they are stepping back in time to pre-history, as if a living dinosaur just strolled by.

About our Artist.
Mal White is theSam’s GardenIllustrator. Mal’s creative genius is born out of a lifetime of love of drawing, cartoons, and design. Inspired by nature, and based in the Rainforest of the Waitakere’s, Mal’s says his Garden has become his family’s magic creative space.
